JYOTISH - Science of Light
A bit of history...
It was during the Vedic age, approximately located in the 3rd millennium BC, that the Rishis, Sages of ancient India, wrote the hymns that make up the Vedas. It is in this set of the most sacred texts of India that we find in the Vedangas, annexed treatises written towards the end of this period, a treatise on astronomy and astrology: the Jyotish. Its aim is to enlighten human understanding with the help of the stars in their allegories, symbolisms and mythologies.
Nothing has been chosen at random and we will find in India as well as in Greece or in Latin Italy the same meanings and interpretations of these planetary energies.
The moment of our birth was not chosen randomly by our soul. The planetary influences at every moment are excellent indicators of the "toolkit" we have brought with us into this life.
This society is often challenging for most souls. How many of us feel the need to bend, twist, and exhaust ourselves just to "fit the mold"? But more often than not, this mold was not made for us—it may be too big, too small, too limited, or simply unsuitable. When we force ourselves into an ill-fitting mold, the soul's only way to communicate its distress is through a general sense of unease, which, if not addressed in time, can lead to a breaking point: burnout, illness, or deep emotional suffering.
The awareness of what we are truly meant for is the great liberation—it allows us to finally grant ourselves permission to stop trying to fit into someone else’s mold and instead seek our own. Jyotish is a window into the soul’s contract, signed before incarnation. This is not about fatalism or destiny written in stone. On the contrary, it serves as a GPS, guiding us toward the best possible path for the development of our soul.
Each person’s destiny lies, moment by moment, in their own hands. Free will, the greatest teacher on this planet, ensures that no choice is ever predetermined. However, there are ways to narrow the funnel of probabilities by observing the "toolkit" we were born with.

I firmly believe that determinism does not exist! Instead, there is an infinite number of possible paths, and it is up to the soul to navigate its journey using the tools it has chosen. Some paths may take us on the long scenic route, while others will feel like a limitless highway. Only the soul, in its journey toward liberation, truly knows which road to take. This is the importance of awareness.
